Schools Developmental Project: Film Making Workshops with Burning House Film Productions

Burning House Productions are bringing their unique film-making workshops to schools in Co. Offaly 

Transition year students from St. Brendan’s Secondary School Birr, Sacred Heart School Tullamore, Killina Presentation Secondary School and Oaklands Community College Edenderry will participate in a series of workshops in the weeks leading up to Cruinniú na nÓg. The students will learn how to use professional filmmaking equipment, devise scenes, act, direct and shoot their own short films. They will also learn about cinematography, script writing, directing, lighting and how to act on camera. 

The final movies produced by the students will be broadcast on Offaly Libraries YouTube channel with the screening taking place on Saturday 15th June.
