Selfies at the Portrait Museum

  • Workshop

This exiting workshop, hosted by Portumna Library, will introduce the participants to a variety of funny, poignant, creative portraits from artists from around the world, demonstrating that self representation can be a free, fun, unbounded exercise. 

Each participant will be asked questions to ponder on, which they can answer in their self-portrait, with writing, collage, drawing and painting. 

The event is aimed at children aged 10 to 14 years old and will take place from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday the 15th of June as part of Cruinniú na nÓg.
