In the lead-up to Cruinniú na nÓg 2023, Freshly Ground Theatre has been running workshops for children and young people aged 4-18.
These creative making sessions include painting, knitting, and crochet, embroidery, pyrography, batik, and woodcraft, all with a focus on sustainability and the environment. The participants collaborated with professional makers and designers to imagine and create an outdoor set for an exciting show running this summer in Tymon Park North.
This set will double as an interactive theatre installation and nature gallery that will be unveiled on the day of Cruinniú! There will also be the opportunity for children and families to create your own nature wand!
