South Dublin Creative Crafters

  • Workshop

Get crafty! South Dublin County Council Libraries are running a craft course and a craft fair.

This is a fun, creative course where children will be taught to make hand-crafted products to sell at one of two craft fairs on 11 June. It will run for two hours each week for four weeks in May and June.

Children will work in teams of four and each team will learn to produce a different craft. We will be using a wide variety of new and recycled materials. Children will be taught to use craft tools, learn new skills and focus on their creativity while having fun making products for sale.

The course is aimed at ages 10–12 or 5th and 6th class students. This course is free and all materials are provided.

Children may attend the course in one library only. The course commences the week of 9 May:

Castletymon Library – Monday 4pm-6pm

Tallaght Library – Tuesday 4pm-6pm

Lucan Library – Wednesday 4pm-6pm

North Clondalkin Library – Thursday 4pm-6pm

Ballyroan Library – Saturday 2pm-4pm

Places are limited to 20 per course. Please register with your library of choice.
