Úna Cahill is a visual artist who works from her studio in her home in Colehill, Longford. Una is calling on all young budding artists of Longford to help create new artwork, by tapping into the wonderful spirit that is us!

Over the course of the four-week programme, we will get inspiration from our surroundings and nature: from how we love our garden, our house plants, the wonders of nature, the drip-drops of pretty rain to wonderful sunbeams.

This project will take place online, where Úna will show the children how to draw the things they see around them in their home and garden, which they will submit to her each week via email. This work will form part of a large painting which Úna will create in her own studio.

The children will get to see it online on Longford Libraries and Creative Ireland Longford Facebook pages, for the first time on Saturday, 13th June 2020 – Cruinniú na nÓg Day.
