Make your own animated movie using characters and worlds designed by you! In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn all about animation and how to use the Stop Motion Studio app to create your own movies.
This workshop will allow children to explore a range of skills, including storytelling and arts and crafts, as they master the fundamentals of stop motion animation, including storyboarding and planning. In developing their stories, they’ll use iPads and a range of props, including paper, card, colours, play dough and Lego figures.
Led by artist Tia Friedel, this workshop will also feature an engaging discussion sure to inspire young filmmakers. We’ll end with a screening of the movies and some popcorn!
