Stop Motion Workshops with AAEX Teens at Cruinniú Big Day Out at Market Square

Embark on a stop-motion adventure where imagination knows no bounds! Our workshops for ages 10-14 offer an exciting journey into the captivating world of stop-motion animation. 

Young members from AAEX Teens will facilitate a series of 30 minutes workshops, guiding other young artists in the creation of stop motion videos. Target age group 10 – 14 years. The event is fully accessible, everybody welcome.

Participants can choose to either use their own phone or tablet to record stop-motion animations via the free Stop Motion Studio app or will be provided with a device. Parents of Participants without devices can opt to receive their child’s animation via an email link, provided they give written consent to this.

Lightboxes, backgrounds, props and figurines for animations will be provided. The free Stop Motion Studio app is available from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Please note there will be photography taken on Cruinniú day of all events. If you do not wish your child to be photographed please notify a member of the Cruinniú team on the day.

Tickets are limited. Please cancel if you have booked and cannot attend to give others the opportunity to avail of the slot.
