StrongWomen Science Presents a Circus Science Show

  • Performance

Ever wanted to know how to balance a chair on your chin, if it’s possible to juggle liquid, or how circus performers eat fire?

StrongWomen Aoife and Maria, two scientists turned circus performers, reveal the scientific secrets behind these astounding tricks. In a fun and fast-paced family circus performance, they’ll show you how jugglers, acrobats and hula hoop artists use science to create their amazing acts.

StrongWomen Science is a circus science show for children and families created by Aoife Raleigh, an engineer, and Maria Corcoran, an environmental scientist, who demonstrate scientific principles in fun and accessible ways.

Suitable for ages 4+. Parental supervision is required. Bookings open on 27 May from Ashbourne Library or by phone on 01-8358185.
