Taking flight

Carlow Regional Youth Services  – South Carlow Hub are delighted to present Taking flight, a visual art project based around the themes of growing up and nature. 

Over 8 weeks, workshop participants will devise a visual art and poetry piece that will illustrate the life cycle of the Crow, a bird native to the South Carlow area. The work will also reference the young people’s own experiences of growing up and flying the nest.

 The finished artwork will be unveiled to the community of Borris, South County Carlow on Saturday June 15th.
