The Last Wild Wolf in Carlow

  • Workshop

The Sky is Blue is the theme for Carlow’s Cruinniú na nÓg 2020, and is a celebration of Carlow scientist John Tyndall’s anniversary.

Take A Part Carlow will work with author and poet Clifton Redmond to design a day long online event looking at John Tyndall’s love of environmental science and how humanity affects our environment.

Clifton will use the well known Carlow legend that the last wild wolf in Ireland was killed in Co. Carlow as a jumping off point to inspire young people to write some ideas, sound bites, poems and stories based on the legend and how we as humans have a responsibility to respect and care for our environment.

This event will be available all day on Saturday 13th June, to find out more please follow the link below
