The Microfest

Step into the vibrant world of The Microfest, an electrifying festival made possible through the Night Time Economy funding of Cruinniú na nÓg. Designed for the dynamic age group of 14-18, it’s a playground where creativity knows no bounds. Local talent takes centre stage with live music pulsating through the air, as bands and buskers showcase their skills.

But it’s not just about the music; The Microfest is a celebration of arts and crafts, with market stalls brimming with handmade treasures.

In collaboration with partners like Boomerang Youth Café’s Basement Sounds Project, Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda Night Time Economy Adviser, Spiral Night Market, and Bru Hub, The Microfest aims to empower youth to explore their creativity and dive into new experiences. Workshops hosted at Boomerang Youth Cafe provide a platform for young minds to experiment and learn.

Inclusivity is at the heart of The Microfest, with outreach efforts reaching out to youth from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that everyone feels welcome in this kaleidoscope of expression. Join us as we ignite the spirit of creativity and pave the way for a brighter, more colourful future.
