In Jay’s high-energy, comedy-clowning, physical theatre-style, he tells the story of four ageing domestic animals, who after a lifetime of hard work are mistreated by the mean old farmer and his mean old wife. The animals decide to sneak away and to travel to the Big Smoke in the hopes of becoming fabulous musicians.
Little do they know of the dangers of the world while on their way to fulfilling their musical dreams.
This endearing story of teamwork and the search for dignity at any age is hilarious fun in the best of the Jay Ryan way. Accompanied on-stage as the Storytelling Assistant is the effervescent Eileen O’Toole.
