The Secret Life of a Superhero

  • Workshop

This fun workshop will allow children to either create a superhero they relate to, or imagine the superhero they would love to be. 

They will be defining their superpower(s), outfit, secret hideout, and the wrongs they wish to make right. They will be encouraged to react to different situations (through various mini-activities) that would occur all thorough their day as a superhero, including various misadventures, and invited to react according to the character they are developing. 

This workshop will take the form of group brainstorming, drawing and storytelling, depending on the participants’ preferred/chosen way(s) of interacting (verbally, on paper with drawing, gesturally to express their idea). 

This event will be hosted by Portumna Library and is aimed at children aged 8-12 years old. 

The event will take place from 11am to 1pm.
