The Stone Yard Sculptures with UBU Traveller Youth Project

Shannonside UBU Traveller Youth Project is working with artists Kate Murtagh Sheridan and Helena Golden to create sculptural pieces from found and natural materials in their new garden project, newly named “The Stone Yard.”

The methods used will incorporate weaving with willow and creating bespoke sculptures with collected recycled materials.

On the day of Cruinniú na nÓg, our youth project invites the community to our event, where we will launch our new sculptural pieces and share them with peers and family members!
