We are thrilled to welcome Ukulele Tuesday to Blackrock Park’s bandstand. Ukulele Tuesday’s are famous for mashing-up contemporary and classic hits, and taking the ukulele into uncharted waters, so bring your dancing shoes as they are sure to get you up and moving!

Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy some local musical talent. In addition to this performance we will be having youth choirs and young rappers performing on the bandstand in Blackrock Park, performances will take place on the hour from 11.00am – 3.00pm.

In the space of just a few years, Ukulele Tuesday has grown form a small musical get-together in the Stag’s Head, Dublin, into one of the driving forces behind Ireland’s ukulele scene. In addition to a string of viral videos, the band is a regular feature at music festivals throughout Ireland and internationally. Mumford and Sons called listening to the Ukulele Tuesday rendition of ‘Little lion Man’ as “One of my favourite Irish moments ever.” Conde Naste has listed Ukulele Tuesday as #2 on their list of “10 Amazing Things to do in Dublin”.
