Up the Town is a newly commissioned arts programme by Creative Places Bagenalstown, engaging with three primary schools in the Muine Bheag area.
Over the past few months, pupils in Queen of the Universe National School, St Mary’s National School and St Brigid’s National School have worked with local artist Leah Corbett (Muine Bheag Arts) to explore what it means to live in a Creative Place through drawing, mark making and flag design.
Come and see the three flags created by these talented groups of students flying high above their respective schools. A display of the work in progress and design sketches will be on show at Muine Bheag Library.
