Weaving Nature

  • Workshop

The project will explore the worlds of traditional weaving and basket-making techniques and basic copper forming skills. 

The children of Scoil Cholmcille Clouna will design and create individual and small group pieces, inspired by nature and the animals found in the local area. They will combine traditional weaving techniques and copper forming to create beautifully unique and individual pieces of work.

The children’s work will be documented and videoed and the school will host an exhibition of the work for Cruinniú na nÓg.

Exhibition Saturday June 15th | Time: 2pm – 4pm
