Whodunnit? An Online Drama Camp with Bombinate Theatre

  • Workshop

There is a mystery to be solved and everyone is a suspect…

During this course, participants get to know the “whodunnit” film genre through drama games, take part in an interactive murder mystery, and write and perform in their very own short film. The course is suitable for children from 9 to 12 years old, and parental/guardian consent for filming is needed in advance.

The course includes five Saturday morning sessions held on Zoom. Each session is one hour long. Additionally, we’ll host a closed showing of the film for participants and their parents/guardians on the day of Cruinniú na nÓg, June 12th. Participants must be able to attend all workshops.

This course is a programme of Bombinate Theatre, an award-winning company that creates plays and workshops for families and young audiences. Their work includes “Half Light” (First Fortnight Award 2016), “Goodnight Egg,” and “Susie and the Story Shredder.” The company is based in Dublin and run by joint directors Ursula McGinn and Mollie Molumby.
