A Celebration of Ireland’s Wildlife – Ceiliúradh ar Fhiadhúlra na hÉireann

This event is a celebration of Ireland’s wildlife, where children will be encouraged to create artwork inspired by their favorite animals or habitats. They may draw, paint, or craft sculptures using recyclable materials. Children will learn about wildlife habitats, diets, behaviors, and conservation. Storytelling will include stories about wildlife conservation and endangered species.

A retired Wildlife Ranger will be the guest speaker. He will educate the children about his career protecting wildlife. Students may ask questions and learn about conservation efforts in their community. Children will also plant native Irish non-GMO flower seeds in a pot to bring home.

This event is aimed at children aged 5 to 12 and will be held at Gaelscoil Iarfhlatha, Tuam.

It will be conducted bilingually in both Irish and English.

This event is organized by Patricia King-Callaghan of TuamÓg children’s group.
