Explore a world of woodlands, foodwebs and ecosystems as you create your own woodland creature with craft maker and ecologist, Fiona O’Driscoll.
Woods are such intriguing and magical places with lots going on that we don’t always see on first glimpse. On the day you’ll learn a little about Irish woodlands, foodwebs and ecosystems from Leitrim-based Fiona. While learning more about these intriguing subjects, you’ll stitch up and stuff some knitted hedgehogs, badgers and felt toadstools with real, natural sheep fleece.
These animals don’t like staying in art centres too long though, they’ll want to be taken home and brought on adventures around your own locality! But be warned: They can get up to mischief and all can become unravelled…
