Written in Stone – make your own Ogham Stone workshop

In this workshop learn more about Ogham, how to write it, and create your own secret code. Then make your own ogham stone to bring home!

Before people in Ireland began writing manuscripts on vellum or paper, they used stone to record events and place names.

The oldest writing in Ireland – Ogham – is over 1,700 years old. From over 400 existing stones experts have been able to identify the ogham alphabet.
