Every year Cruinniú na nÓg gives lots of young people the opportunity to get involved in youth theatre for the first time. It can be a transformative experience that builds confidence, teaches us more about ourselves and creates new friendships.

Over 3,000 young people between the ages of 12 and 21 belong to 55 affiliated youth theatres throughout the country. For Cruinniú na Óg 2024 there will be a nationwide blitz of all sorts of free creative events and performances for young people. And it’s not just about acting, for those who would like to find out more about what happens behind the scenes there will be  writing, technical skills and stage combat workshops. More than anything youth theatre is great fun. On 15th June there will be more than 50 taster workshops in practically every county in Ireland.
