11 June 2022

A wave of creativity across the country!

13/06/2022

Thousands of children and young people unleashed their creativity for Cruinniú na nÓg 2022.

At 650+ fantastic free events that took place in person and online, thousands of children and young people came along, got creative and tried something new for Cruinniú na nÓg 2022.

The day was simply incredible, thanks in no small part to the hard work put in by the 31 Local Authorities and our terrific partners Dance Ireland, Garageland, Historic Houses of Ireland, Irish Street Arts Circus & Spectacle Network and Nenagh Children’s Film Festival.

“Thousands of children and young people came along, got creative and tried something new!”

From pop up dance performances to learning super circus skills, hands-on heritage experiences to awesome animated films made by kids, and even future rock stars taking to the stage, we hope everybody had an absolute ball!
