Chosen from 200+ excellent entries, this year’s winning images are a testament to the innate talent and creative vision of young photographers from all over Ireland.
Designed by teenagers for teenagers, the Fótó na nÓg Young Photographers Awards Programme was initiated by the Gallery of Photography Ireland in 2021 and is supported by The Creative Ireland Programme/Cruinniú na nÓg and Dublin City Arts Office.
The awards jury consisted of the curators at the Gallery of Photography Ireland and was led by Seamus O’Ciosain (17) from the Gallery’s Student Council.

For 2022’s edition, the jury made a special award for the best Photo Series. This went to An Yancheng (18, Dublin) for his series Roadside, Ireland.
