This mural will be adopted by a new community in West Clare Region, Kilmurray Ibricane & beyond . It will be designed and delivered by local young people from the community of Quilty – Mullagh & Coore, under the guidance & mentoring of a professional artist.
The mural will be designed by local young people and will be in a prominent visible location to give them a sense of ownership and pride in their community. The concept will promote healthy living and wellbeing through positive play, activity and use of community outdoor spaces.
The location at Kilmurray Ibricane GAA Club is a positive and central community facility & the mural will inspire the whole community to make positive choices in their lives.
It will encourage all to participate in positive healthy community recreational and sporting activities, helping to grow communities that are positive and healthy in all aspects of body, mind and action.
The design and creation of the mural will happen on the run-up to Cruinniú na nÓg with the mural being finished on June 15th.
