Young Curators project

  • Exhibition

Tipperary Museum of Hidden History, Clonmel are seeking students interested in participating in a Young Curators initiative to learn about the role of a Curator and the work of caring for collections and designing exhibitions. This project will take place on Cruinniú na nÓg Day on June 15th.  The project aims to give interested students an opportunity to learn about the work of Museums and Galleries.  Participants will work with renowned curator Catherine Marshall to learn about what we collect and why we collect it. The students will also get the opportunity to choose a work for exhibition at Tipperary Museum.  The young curators will then present to an audience about their chosen work and their involvement in the project. This project will take place on Saturdays on the 15th June 2024, and the 3 Saturdays before.
