You Want to be a Writer … Then Let’s Begin!

  • Workshop

What is being a writer all about? I’ve read a great story, could I do that? Do I have a story to tell? Could I really write a story or a book? What would that be like?

If you’ve ever asked yourself any of these questions above, then this creative writing workshop is for you.

During this workshop the answers to these questions will be explored and you will be guided on how to get started and generate ideas.

Started already and bursting with Ideas? Or no experience at all? You will be guided as to what ingredients you need to come up with fantastic characters and creative storylines. The story is already there, buried in your imagination. Learn some some practical exercises to fire up that creative energy and help those stories come to life.

When? 10 am to 11.30 am

Where? Charleville Library.

For who? It is suitable for 13 to 18 year olds.

No experience necessary, just bring your imagination, pen and paper, or whatever you would like to use to capture your stories on.

If you prefer to capture your stories through art/comic, please bring a sketch pad and pencils.

Come along to find the help you need to begin your writing journey.
