“Carers Connect” is a collaborative art project for Young Carers, age 9 – 18, that explored the narrative of caring through time.
This mural exhibition is the culmination of workshops facilitated by Emily Cuddy (Art Psychotherapist) and Avril Mannion (Young Carers FRC) that explored imagery that the Young Carers feel best describes their experience. “Carers Connect” Murals will be on display for Cruinniu na nOg on Saturday in Roscommon Town square under the new structure from 1 – 3 pm. It will also be on display in the County Council over the month of June.
We hope the murals spark conversation and awareness in the community about the benefits and struggles of being a Young Carer.
