In the Wexford Urban Playground workshop, the children will consider how the community roots of street dance and hip-hop can be used to inspire characters and rules for game-making.
Creating characters living in fantasy worlds, the children will move and dance together to explore the social conventions of those new worlds. This workshop promotes original and authentic expression through movement and demonstrates how art, creativity and community are linked.
