Rock the Block

Come ‘Rock the Block’ in Knocknaheeny at this epic full day festival of youth music-making, workshops, sessions, performances, food, face-painting and more! ‘Rock the Block’ is part of Cruinniú na nÓg, 15th June 2024 and will run from 11am – 6pm at the Kabin Studio and surrounds. 

‘Rock the Block’ is a youth-led celebration of music, self-expression, pride of place and community focus firmly located in the heart of Knocknaheeny. From workshops, to seisúins, from performances to discussion, Rock the Block is an event with the voice of the youth shouting loud and proud at the centre of it! 

Presented by Rhyme Island, GMCBeats, The Kabin Studio, Creative Tradition, Musical Neighbourhoods and Music Generation Cork City In partnership with Cork City Council, Creative Ireland, Cork ETB Youth Services, Foroige and Cork Local Creative Youth Partnership.

Filming & photography will take place at this event. 

Most events are un-ticketed but registration will be required for some workshops.
