Making a Visual Game with Game Developer Gary Chadwick

  • Workshop

In this workshop, participants will engage with images to understand how a visual game engine operates.

Using existing templates as a starting point, participants will employ their creativity to expand and adapt the images to meet the requirements of a game. No prior art skills are necessary to complete this task.

Participants will have the opportunity to become the creators of new player choices and develop interactive, innovative content. The workshop will explore various game systems and guide participants through to project completion.

Time: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. Age group: 12-18.

In partnership with Imirt – the representative body of game developers and creators from all disciplines throughout Ireland.
