Super-stories and Superheroes is an immersive creative arts and drama workshop designed to engage participants of all ages at Cruinniú na nÓg. The workshop aims to ignite the spark of creativity and unleash that creative potential within everyone, through the power of storytelling and recycled materials. Drawing inspiration from the wonderful ‘Brown Box’ concept, wherein a child’s creativity transforms simple objects into fantastical creations, the workshop encourages participants to embark on an exciting and energetic storytelling journey fuelled by their imagination.

The workshop is about collaboration, creativity, and confidence-building as participants get to create and perform their stories in whatever way works for them. Through interactive drama exercises, improvisation games, art and storytelling techniques, we aim to promote some environmental awareness and demonstrate how resourcefulness and innovation can transform waste into something magical.
