Into the Wilds: A Feast of Comic Adventures

Step into the vivid world of comics at our “Into the Wilds: A Feast of Comic Adventures” exhibition, where you will discover the vibrant cartoon creations of Walterstown National School 1st Class students. Unearth the magic of storytelling through comics as we embark on a thrilling journey filled with magnetic characters and hair-raising adventures. 

This year a student from 1st Class was granted their Creative Wish, an initiative by Cruinniu na nÓg, which was to create comics. This exhibition showcases the fruits of six playful drawing sessions with guidance from illustrator Annie Mar, where we delved into the world of character development, sequential illustration and zine-making. The exhibition of our creations will be launched at Cobh Library on Saturday 15th June.
