Louth Local Ambassador – Annie

My name is Annie and I am in 3rd year at Drogheda Grammar School.  I have been attending creative workshops in the Highlanes Gallery, Drogheda since I could walk and I am a member of their Young Persons – Teen Panel. I enjoy Art and Craft activities because you have to think outside the box.  I love exploring and trying new mediums to create drawings and paintings of my favourite characters. Currently, my science teacher is encouraging me to explore the concept that art and science can go hand in hand!  

I believe the joy of creativity is having fun, be it drawing, writing, baking, crocheting, making music or producing videos of a pet rabbit or Lego figures.     

Cruinniú na nÓg 2024 is an opportunity to try some new activity, make new friends and best of all every event is free.
