Creative Writing Workshop & African Traditional Musical Instrument Training and Demo

Longford Africans Network will host an African Traditional Instrument training and demo for children and young people during Cruinniú na nÓg. 

This will be an interactive session and will be delivered by an African entertainment enthusiast on the day. Participants will be encouraged to practice with the musical instruments provided. This is aimed at creating awareness and appreciation of African music and instruments. 

Creative writing workshops will also be delivered by a local author during the day. 

Events will conclude with a concert showcasing African music and culture.
