Wild Flower Workshop

  • Workshop

Join us for a Wild Flower and Insect Identification walk at Moy Community Garden, Lahinch.

Identify native wild flowers and learn how to collect wild flower seeds. We will learn about the important insects that live on these flowers and how to carry out a flower insect count and upload results to https://records.biodiversityireland.ie/record/fit-count.

We will make seed packets from recycled cardboard and take-home plant pots made from milk cartons. Finally, we will make wild flower lemonade to enjoy in the garden.

Workshop is suitable for children aged 5 to 13, and their parents/guardians.
